What is the difference between Endpoint Protector and My Endpoint Protector? (Discontinued)

Endpoint Protector is a client–server application. The server side comes as a hardware or virtual appliance that requires needs to be installed and maintained in your local network. The client is a small application that is installed on all protected computers and it communicating to the Endpoint Protector server.

With My Endpoint Protector the server is hosted in the cloud (located in Germany and trusted by some of the biggest companies in the world) and all protected computers connect to that location. With My Endpoint Protector there is no need to setup and maintain servers or install license. Therefor it reduces costs due to less hardware requirements, reduce software server license requirements and eliminates the time, energy and maintenance required to run a server.
